Our Stella delle Alpi was bulit in 1913 along the Mendelstrasse, which already connected Vienna to Milan. The Mendola Pass was at the time a famous health and resting place, even frequented by royalty of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

In the 70’s, Claudio Battisti takes over the Stella delle Alpi from his aunt and reopens the hotel. Claudio, already the youngest federal councillor in the history of FISI (Italian Winter Sports Federation), will also be twice mayor of Ronzone. The old stable for horses is transformed into the current dining room. The wooden ceiling is still the original from 1913.

From the 1920s until the second post-war period, thanks to its dominant position overlooking the splendid Val di Non panorama, the Stella became a beloved place where travellers stopped to fresh up from their long journeys and where the inhabitants and holidaymakers of Ronzone met for refreshments and good company.

Since then the building has been enlarged, modified and renovated several times, with the addition of a swimming pool and wellness center, the opening of the private garden with a view over the Brenta Dolomites and the construction of 8 beautiful Junior Suites. What has not changed is the principle of welcome and relaxation that the Battisti family believes a real mountain holiday should offer.
